Rnewelf TCG Game Setup and Rules Guide

Welcome to the fantasy world of Rnewelf TCG! Here, you will control sprites of different attributes and win the game through strategy and skill. Below is the full setup and rules of the game to provide you with a professional and clear guide.

Game Preparation

1.Base Equipment:

·Both sides prepare the Rnewelf base deck.（(base, enhanced or gold)）.

·Single or Double Deck Mat 1。

·Game Accessories: Rnewelf microstamp, elemental/status dice, multi-function scorekeeper, reanimated mage scoreboard, and required damage indicators。

2.Preparatory steps before starting：

·Determine the order of attack.

·Both players shuffle and cut their decks into the library area.

·Each player draws 6 cards from the library.

·Choose a main battle card and place it face down in the battle zone as the “Battle Rnewelf”. If no Rnewelf is drawn, reshuffle the deck and draw 6 more cards.

·Once the main battle rnewelf is placed, you may choose up to 5 cards to place face down in the battle preparation area, or none at all.

Game flow

1.sequence of rounds：

·First to attack the player Start.，Draw 1 card from the deck. If the deck is empty and you cannot draw a card, that player loses.

·Free choice during the player’s turn  The following 4 status actions.

1. Activate card skills (each Rnewelf has different attributes and skills to deal multiple damage).
   1. Attach or use Attribute cards (limited to 1 per turn).
   1. Use allied cards (see below for specific types and rules).
   1. Dodge or retreat to the battle preparation area (see “Retreat Rules”).

2.Special scoring mechanism：

·Passed Scoreboard，Winners and losers can be determined in special circumstances. For example, if the game ends in the middle of a match, the player at the top of the scoreboard wins.

·After winning each game, players can draw the corresponding hexagonal “Rebirth Event Card” to enhance their strategic advantage in the next game.

3.special status effect：

·There are five special states in the game (Venom, Fever, Sleep, Cure, and Transition) that affect combat differently, as described in the Terminology and States section.

victory condition

1. Priority: The first player to get 6 bonus cards wins.

2. Battle Failure: If your opponent’s Battle Rewelf is empty and there are no cards in the Battle Reserve, you win.

3. Running out of cards: If your opponent has no cards to draw from his or her library, you win.

4. Scoring: In special cases, the winner is determined by the total number of points on the scoreboard.

Rnewelf Card Types

The Rnewelf TCG is divided into 4 main decks, each with a unique function:

1.Elven Basic Card：

·Each Rnewelf card has a different HP (life value) and skill.

·Skills and Energy: Card Skills consume Energy Cards of the corresponding attribute, and “S Energy” can replace any Energy requirement.

·Attribute Effects： 

·Weakness: doubles damage from certain attributes.

·Resistance: Reduces damage from certain attributes.

·Retreat: Retreat from the battle zone to the battle preparation zone by consuming energy.

2.Ally Cards: Used to support battles and are categorized into the following four types:

·Item Props Cards: Can be used in unlimited numbers and discarded to the discard zone after triggering an effect.

·Resurrectionist Alliance Cards: You can only use 1 card per turn and discard it after use (not available on the first turn).

·Event Card: Attach to Rnewelf to increase strategic versatility.

·Moment cards: special effect cards that can dramatically change the game.

3.Attribute Card: Used to support Rnewelf to activate a skill or retreat, limited to 1 attached per turn.

4.Other accessories:

1. Scorekeepers and status markers help record injuries and special status.

Special Status and Recovery

Special statuses in the game affect Rnewelf’s performance and are described below:

1.  Venom: 20 points of damage per turn, stacks with other statuses.
2.  Fever: 40 points of damage per turn, restored on the front side of the coin and sustained on the back side.
3.  Sleep: Cannot attack or retreat, recovered on the front side of the coin.
4.  Curing: Cannot act next turn, then recover.
5.  Change: Skill use requires a coin flip, heads succeeds, tails fails and takes 50 points of damage.

Restore status:

• Retreat to the ready area to recover.
• Certain Resurrectionist Alliance cards or Rnewelf skills can also undo the status.

Game Advancement Tips

1. Attribute Restraint: Rnewelf has 9 attributes, and the relationship between them directly affects the outcome of the battle. Attribute markers are located at the top left of the card.
2. Skill Use: Requires specific energy cards, and cannot be used in the first round.
3. Flexible Retreat: You can retreat once per turn to ensure your Rnewelf’s survival.

Using Resurrection Event Cards, Moment Cards, and a dynamic Scoreboard, players advance their Resurrection Mage rank while experiencing the game’s innovative mechanics, such as:

• Special Status Effects like Venom, Fever, and Sleep, adding strategic depth.
• Attribute and Alliance Cards for creating personalized decks.
• Energy-Based Combat Mechanics that emphasize resource management and tactical decisions.

Rnewelf TCG introduces the concept of Resurrection Counters, which track players’ progress as they collect rare elemental sprites and ascend to mastery. This game isn’t just about competition—it’s about restoring life and sharing the joy of collecting.

1. Elven Base Card

       Each Rnewelf has a different HP (life value) and holds a different skill move.

 Skill Moves: Each Rnewelf requires the correct amount of energy to use.

 If “S energy” appears, it means that any required energy can be substituted.

·Retreat: A Rnewelf can retreat from a combat zone to a backup zone if itexpends enough energy, or a Rnewelf can retreat without energy.

· Weakness: Damage dealt by an opponent’s moves with this attribute becomes 2x or more.

· Resistance: Damage dealt by an opponent’s moves with this attribute is reduced.

·Retreat: You can retreat to the ready area and discard your energy card to the discard area.

• wildcard

       It belongs to the support nature cards, which are categorized into item prop cards, resurrectionist alliance cards, event cards, and moment cards, with a total of 4 types of attribute cards.

•  Item prop cards

    Allied Cards can be used on your turn in unlimited numbers. Use the skill effect on the card after making it, then discard the card to the discard zone.

Item cards can remain attached to a Rnewelf until it is returned to the void.

Note that you can only attach one card to a Rnewelf, and you cannot attach a second card or change the attachment to another card.

（2）Resurrectionist Alliance Card

       You can only use 1 during your turn, use it once as indicated, and then discard the card to the discard zone. (Cannot be used on the first turn of the opening game)

（3）Event card

       It is used when Rnewelf uses a move or retreats to a battlefield preparation area, and is limited to one per turn. It can bring a different kind of fun to the players.

• Time card

           Rnewelf special card type, use skill moves as instructed, and use them together to bring different effects.

3、Attribute card

       When Rewelf uses a move or retreats to the battlefield, you can only attach 1 of these per turn.

       There is no limit to the number of Basic Energy cards in a 1-deck deck.
